May 23, 2008
Hi everyone!
So here is what happened at E.F.T.! My roommates were Torrie and Kiersten. The room mom was Torrie’s mom. My cabin was called Sun Valley and there were two other rooms in the cabin for other girl groups to sleep in. There was also a 2nd floor which a mom who had no one with her got to sleep in.

Tuesday:
8:00-8:45-Breakfast
8:45-12:00- HIGH ROPES [The zipline, catwalk, and a wire thing where stuff are attached on trees (about 30/40 ft. up) and we get to do stuff on it.]
Zipline: We had to climb up to a platform on top of a tree to where a guy will be up there. He will attach this hook thing on your back onto a wire/rope that will make you go above a few trees and I think it goes 40/50 ft. across I think. It was fun!
Catwalk: We climb up a tree and there will be a long log attached to two trees and we have to walk across it. It was scary for most people, but some people just ran across it.
The wire one: Didn’t do because I had no time. Hehe
12:00-12:15-Break
12:15-1:15-Lunch
1:15-4:30-Low ropes. [Team building activities. My group had to help each other get across some ropes and stuff like that]
4:30-5:15-Break
5:15-6:30-Dinner
6:30-9:30-Campfire and skits
Campfire: We sang some songs. They were the following:
“Take Me Home Country Roads”
“Dead Skunk”
“Good Riddance (Time of your Life)”
“I’m a Believer”
“Imagine”
“Signs”
“Cats in the Cradle”
“Brown Eyed Girl”
“You are my Sunshine”
“6th Avenue Heartache”
“Wild Night”
“Take it Easy”
“Already Gone”
“Thunder Road”
It was nice singing them and the leaders were a mom and a dad. They both played the guitar for us.
The only bad part about the night was that it was raining so we all had to stay inside and just huddle around the fireplace instead of the actual campfire. We had smores and then the skits. Each group had to split up into two and my half of the group just went along with the skit while we were performing.
